This one-day forum brings together the business community and Lynn community to learn about some of the hottest topics facing businesses today, including cybersecurity, data analytics, consumer trends, corporate culture and more—all to help companies thrive.

Cynthia M. Trudell was formerly Executive Vice President, Human Resources and Chief Human Resources Officer of PepsiCo, serving from February, 2007 until September, 2017.

In this role, Trudell was responsible for PepsiCo’s global human resources function, and the company’s human capital management strategy, which was designed to support and foster a global operating model, differentiated innovation and sustainable growth and productivity.

Prior to joining PepsiCo, Trudell served as president of Sea Ray Group from 2001 to 2006, a wholly owned subsidiary of Brunswick Corporation. From 1981-2001, she worked for General Motors (GM), initially in a variety of engineering and manufacturing managerial positions, including plant manager roles at the St. Catharine’s Engine and Foundry operations (Ontario, Canada), and the Wilmington Car Assembly Center (Delaware, US). Later, Trudell assumed a number of general management roles including president of IBC Vehicles, a joint venture between GM and Isuzu (Luton, England), and vice president of GM and chairman and president of Saturn Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of GM. She began her automotive career in 1979 with the Ford Motor Company as a Chemical Process Engineer.

Trudell currently serves on the Board of Directors for ISS, a global facility service provider headquartered in Copenhagen, Denmark. She also serves as a member of the Defense Business Board, advising the United States Department of Defense on business process and management issues. Previously, Trudell served on the PepsiCo Board of Directors from 2000 to 2007, when she resigned to accept the HR management position; the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce Board of Directors from 2005 to 2008; and the Pepsi-Cola Bottling Group (PBG) Board of Directors from 2008 to 2010, prior to PBG’s merger with PepsiCo.

Trudell resides in Armonk, N.Y with her husband.

Mr. David Clarke serves as the Chief Experience Officer and Principal of Pricewaterhouse Cooper’s $750 million digital ad agency with 32 experience centers worldwide. Mr. Clarke co-founded Burn World-Wide, Ltd., (dba BGT Partners) and served as its Chief Executive Officer and Managing Partner. He was responsible for BGT's double-digit growth every year since he founded it in 1996.

Clarke is extremely involved in bettering the community and is an ardent supporter of the South Florida Interactive Marketing Association (SFIMA), a lecturer and member of the board of the International Academy of the Visual Arts and a regular judge and panelist for prestigious industry awards.

Considered an internet visionary, in 2010, he was named an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year finalist, a Miami Herald 20 Under 40, a South Florida Business Journal 40 Under 40 and a Business Leader Top 50 Entrepreneur. In 2009, he was selected as a Business Leader Mover & Shaker.

Clarke is a graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder.

Clarke was recently added to AdWeek’s prestigious 2018 Top 40 List at number 30.

About the College of Business and Management

Teaching more than 1,000 students from more than 70 nations, the College of Business and Management is the largest—and most international—college at Lynn University.

The College of Business and Management at Lynn University is housed in the state-of-the-art Mohammed Indimi International Business Center, and is spearheaded under the leadership of Dean, RT Good. The College of Business and Management offers more than 20 majors in its undergraduate and graduate degree programs.

In an effort to stay on the cutting edge of employer demands and the dynamic marketplace, the College of Business and Management launched several new majors starting in the Fall of 2018 including:
