DMAC students and employees join the Lynn family

Lynn University officially assumes operations of Digital Media Arts College

Lynn University today assumed responsibility for the management and operation of the former Digital Media Arts College (DMAC). The transition follows the institutions' Sept. 20 announcement that Lynn agreed to acquire DMAC, pending regulatory approval, which was received Oct. 5.

Lynn began offering DMAC’s programs as part of its College of Communication and Design Oct. 19, providing both theory and technology to prepare students for careers in a quickly changing market.

"I personally am very excited by the acquisition because it enables our professors to reach and teach a lot more students a great curriculum of traditional and digital art," said Mark Sparacio, fine arts professor in the new College of Communication and Design.

Lynn will host an orientation Oct. 20 for all students transferring to the university. Parents and guardians are also invited to attend the orientation's Parents and Families track.
